- Correspondence: if you email us directly, we collect the information contained in that correspondence.
We also collect information automatically via Google Analytics, including pages visited, time on site, referring website, approximate location derived from IP address, and device or browser type. Google Analytics does not collect your name or email address directly. We do not use advertising or retargeting technology on this website.
2. How we use your information
We use the personal information we collect to respond to your enquiry and arrange a discovery call or other requested engagement; to provide, administer, and improve our advisory services to clients; to maintain records for our own business, accounting, and legal purposes; and to comply with any legal or regulatory obligations that apply to us.
We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
3. Disclosure of your information
We disclose personal information only to the extent necessary to operate this website and our business, including to:
- Netlify, Inc., which hosts this website and processes form submissions on our behalf. Netlify may store and process data on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States.
- Google LLC, which serves the web fonts used on this site (loading these fonts may disclose your IP address to Google in the ordinary course of your browser requesting the font files) and provides Google Analytics, which we use to understand how visitors use this website.
- Our professional advisers (such as our accountant or legal adviser), where reasonably necessary for us to obtain advice.
- Any party required by law, including a court, tribunal, or regulator, if we are compelled to make a disclosure.
We otherwise do not disclose your personal information to any third party without your consent, except as set out in this policy or as required by law.
4. Overseas disclosure
Some of the third parties referred to above, including Netlify and Google, may store or process information on servers located outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure that any overseas recipient handles your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, to the extent required by law.
5. Small business exemption
Liltec Advisory may qualify as a "small business" under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and, to the extent it does, may not be strictly required to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles. Regardless of whether that exemption applies, we choose to handle personal information in a manner consistent with this policy.
6. Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data breach notification
If a data breach involving your personal information occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will take reasonable steps to notify you and, where required, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, consistent with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), to the extent that scheme applies to us.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, including to satisfy any legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Where information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

This website uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to help us understand how visitors use the site, for example, which pages are viewed and how long visitors stay. These cookies do not identify you personally. We do not use cookies for advertising or retargeting.
